Job summary

Sonesta Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Director of Operations to lead daily hotel operations, drive guest satisfaction, and optimize performance. You will partner with department leaders to supervise Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and security while mentoring teams to uphold service standards and brand expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving, with a passion for hospitality excellence and operational excellence across departments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
3+ years of hotel operations or hospitality leadership experience.
Experience with PMS systems and hospitality software.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily hotel operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, guest services, and operational departments.
Lead and support hotel teams to deliver exceptional guest service, operational consistency, and memorable experiences.
Monitor guest satisfaction, operational KPIs, and cost management to drive improvement.
