Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Food and Beverage to lead multiple outlets and large banquet operations. You will oversee staff performance, ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards, and drive departmental profitability.

This role requires supervisory experience, strong English communication, and a background in food and beverage operations within a large facility.

Qualifications

• Some college or advanced training in food and beverage operations plus 2 years related experience, preferably in a similarly sized facility.
• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field preferred.
• Must speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities of outlets staff, ensure coverage, communicate goals, and enforce policies.
• Recommend salary, disciplinary, or staffing actions per company rules; alert Assistant Director of F&B of serious issues.
• Ensure staff trained on quality and service standards and have necessary tools.
• Monitor sales and costs and department profitability against goals; assist with annual budget preparation.
