Job summary

Urban Air Palmdale is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, and uphold our Culture of Activating Awesome. You will supervise staff, manage scheduling, training, and safety standards to drive performance and a memorable guest experience.

The role requires hospitality experience and strong leadership, with a track record of developing teams, controlling costs, and maintaining a high-energy environment that blends entertainment with service

Qualifications

Experience in hospitality is a MUST.
3+ years’ supervisory or management experience required.
Ability to pass a thorough background check.
CPR/First Aid Certification is preferred.
Brand Ambassador and Culture Champion.
Demonstrated ability to develop team members.

Responsibilities

Cultivate a team environment with exceptional customer service and high staff performance.
Assist in hiring, retention, coaching, and training execution.
Develop weekly schedules ensuring appropriate staffing and coverage.
Lead and motivate staff to maximize customer experience and productivity.
Develop staff and trainers for leadership opportunities.
Implement staff recognition and incentive programs.
Assist with inventory and expense control.
Oversee operations across entertainment, food/beverage, attractions and inspections.
Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for guests and staff.
Improve operational execution following Urban Air standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
