Job summary

Eaglewood Resort & Spa is seeking a Hotel Engineer to keep the property running smoothly, performing routine inspections, and coordinating with maintenance teams to prevent issues before they arise.

The role requires knowledge of boilers, HVAC, and electrical systems, with a preference for 1-2 years of hotel engineering experience. The position is on-site in Itasca, IL, with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
• Experience as a Stationary Engineer with knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Proficient in maintenance and repair of boilers, HVAC, electrical, and other stationary equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boilers, chillers, pumps, compressors and other stationary equipment.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for maintenance needs.
• Maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems throughout the hotel.
• Respond to maintenance requests including after-hours emergencies.
• Ensure safety protocols and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
