Job summary

Hilton is seeking an Engineer to maintain hotel facilities and deliver exceptional guest experiences in Des Moines, Iowa. This role focuses on ensuring safety, reliability, and high standards across guest rooms and public areas, while responding promptly to service requests.

You will perform diverse maintenance tasks across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems, and conduct preventive inspections to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining hotel facilities and equipment.
• Ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC.
• Strong attention to safety and preventive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel facilities: Ensure physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas
• Respond to service requests: Quickly handle guest calls and team member work orders
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks: Conduct repairs and maintenance across various areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections: Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needs
• Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention
