Job summary

InnVentures LLC is seeking a Maintenance Engineer at our Homewood-based property to ensure guest comfort by performing repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and related systems. You will troubleshoot equipment, paint, landscape, and coordinate with hotel teams to uphold safety and service standards.

The role requires physical activity, weekend and holiday availability, and prior hotel maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or property management setting is preferred.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Role involves continuous movement and lifting up to 50 pounds; ability to stand/walk for an entire shift.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture, cabinetry, appliances, lighting, and plumbing.
• Interior and exterior painting, landscaping, and parking lot repairs.
• Troubleshoot devices such as key card systems, internet equipment, and televisions.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and report/repair equipment or system issues.
• Respond to guest requests with urgency and service mindset.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to support hotel goals.
