Job summary

Hospitality America is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our hotel operations team. You will maintain the building and grounds, and operate electrical and mechanical systems to keep the property in top condition.

Responsibilities include prioritizing work orders, preventive maintenance, pool care, and coordinating with local inspectors to ensure codes and safety standards are met, while responding to guest requests with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Review maintenance problems and prioritize work orders.
• Monitor and inspect assigned work.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical/mechanical systems.
• Inspect property and identify maintenance needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on a schedule.
• Coordinate with health and safety inspectors to ensure compliance.
• Service hotel pool and adjust chemicals/filters.
• Complete maintenance logs.
• Maintain exterior when not serviced by a contractor.
• Listen and respond to guests' requests or complaints.
