Peter Piper Pizza is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help drive restaurant profitability and guest satisfaction by maintaining high hospitality standards, quality product, and a clean environment. You will coach and develop entry-level managers, oversee recruitment and onboarding, and ensure safety and operational compliance across daily activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age (must meet local law for serving alcohol)
• HS diploma or GED or equivalent
• 2 years of management experience (restaurant/hospitality preferred) or equivalent management experience
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager to ensure restaurant profitability through sales, labor cost control, and waste management
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding new Managers and Team Members
• Train, coach and develop entry-level managers and team members
• Open and close the restaurant following checklists
• Ensure adherence to rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Maintain a safe working environment for all staff and guests
• Model and reinforce guest hospitality expectations
• Assign daily tasks and follow up with staff
