Job summary

Peter Piper Pizza, Inc. in Tucson is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help execute daily restaurant operations and ensure a high-quality guest experience. You will coach and develop managers and team members while supporting profitability, safety, and service standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, staffing, onboarding, and adherence to company procedures in a fast-paced dining environment.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older as required by local law for selling and serving responsibilities.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years of management experience (preferably in restaurant/hospitality) or equivalent.
Basic computer skills or familiarity with POS systems.

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager to drive profitability through sales, labor control and waste management.
Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding new Managers and Team Members.
Train, coach and develop entry-level managers and team members.
Open and close the restaurant following checklists.
Ensure compliance with rules, policies, and safety procedures.
Maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.
Model guest hospitality expectations.
Assign daily tasks and follow up with team members.
