Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Chicago, IL is seeking a Professional Facilities Manager to be the host of the office for customers and guests. You will lead a team, ensure reception and hospitality services, and manage facilities operations to deliver a seamless experience.

The role requires 3–5 years in hospitality, events operations or property management, plus 2 years of team leadership. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration are essential; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• 3-5 years prior experience in hospitality, tourism, events operations, property management, or related.
• 2 years prior experience leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and work collaboratively with customer contacts.
• Recruit, train, coach and hold teams accountable.
• Supervise daily processes to completion.
• Ensure reception, hospitality and mail services are delivered within SLA’s and compliant with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Provide back-up coverage for all services when necessary.
• Manage team member time, travel and overtime costs.
• Handle inquiries in a timely manner.
• Develop processes and procedures across the account.
• Own projects end-to-end from tasks and resources to on-time completion.
• Conduct audits to ensure quality expectations are met.
• Monitor facility-related work orders.
