Job summary

Hilton - Embassy Suites Irvine is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead the department's HR activities, recruit, train and coach staff, and conduct performance reviews to foster excellence in service.

You will manage the annual F&B budget, develop marketing plans, ensure SOP and health/safety compliance, oversee menus and promotions, and maintain sanitation and quality across all outlets to drive guest satisfaction and hotel performance.

Qualifications

• Oversee HR in the F&B department, including hiring, training and coaching.
• Develop and manage department budget, forecasts and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety and sanitary regulations.
• Market F&B outlets with menus, promotions and displays within guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation and maintenance of F&B areas and equipment.
• Respond to guest needs and feedback to improve experiences.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee recruitment and development of employees; hire, train, empower, coach and counsel, performance and salary reviews, resolve conflict through fair treatment policy, discipline and terminate, as appropriate.
• Develop, implement and manage the department's annual budget, business/marketing plan, forecasts and objectives.
• Implement and manage all company programs to ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Market the Food and Beverage outlets and manage menus, promotions, and presentations.
• Manage maintenance/sanitation of the food and beverage areas and equipment.
• Respond to customer needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience.
