Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a hospitality-focused Patient Services Manager to oversee the Patient Services Team in an acute care hospital in Charleston, SC. Salary range is $70,000–$80,000 with relocation assistance available.

The role emphasizes leading daily patient dining operations, staff development, and collaboration with clinical teams to meet dietary needs. Healthcare experience is not required, but strong service orientation is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong hospitality and customer service background with experience leading and developing teams.
• Food service management experience preferred; restaurant, hotel, and other hospitality leadership experience welcomed.
• Associate degree with one year of food service or related experience, or a bachelor’s degree in food service management or a related field.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning patient dining technology.
• ServSafe certification desirable; CDM, DTR, or RD credentials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily patient dining operations, ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and delivered with excellent service.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop a team focused on creating a positive patient experience.
• Partner with clinical teams to meet patients’ dietary needs, preferences, and prescribed diet requirements.
• Drive patient satisfaction through team engagement, service follow-up, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, confidentiality, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives, department meetings, and facility quality improvement programs.
