Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking a Patient Services Manager to oversee our patient dining team at an acute care hospital in Charleston, SC. Salary range is $70,000–$80,000 with relocation assistance.

We want a hospitality-driven leader with a strong customer service background who can hire, train, and coach a team, partner with clinical staff on dietary needs, and drive patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hospitality leadership and customer service experience with team development.
• Food service management experience preferred in hospitality settings.
• Associate degree with related experience or bachelor’s in related field.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning patient dining technology.
• ServSafe certification desirable; CDM/DTR/RD credentials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily patient dining operations, ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and delivered with excellent service.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop a team focused on creating a positive patient experience.
• Partner with clinical teams to meet patients’ dietary needs, preferences, and prescribed diet requirements.
• Drive patient satisfaction through team engagement, service follow-up, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, confidentiality, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives, department meetings, and facility quality improvement programs.
