Job summary

Onni is seeking a Guest Services Agent in Seattle to warmly register guests, manage reservations, and provide information on rooms, rates, and amenities. The role supports a smooth reception experience, handles queries, and assists with check-in/out procedures, while coordinating with the Guest Service Manager.

Responsibilities include resolving guest issues, applying the hotel’s selling strategy, and maintaining timely communication with other departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Front Office/Concierge experience in hotel, residential or customer-focused industry.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Windows.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle all guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests when possible.
• Resolve customer complaints and assist inquiries about services, hours, key personnel, events, directions, etc.
• Respond to guest requests promptly, making recommendations based on local knowledge and company practices.
• Ensure efficient reception experience including check-in/check-out and audit procedures.
• Communicate relevant guest feedback to the Guest Service Manager and other departments.
• Take telephone reservations and changes with courteous service to maximize revenue.
• Process packages, faxes, messages, and mail accurately and timely.
• Coordinate storage room operations for luggage and deliveries.
• Assist with valet and lobby coverage during heavy volume or absences.
• Provide basic in-room service troubleshooting for Internet, TV, etc.
