Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. You will ensure guest satisfaction, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with staff and vendors to deliver flawless events.

Based in a hotel/convention environment, you will meet clients on site, manage equipment and paperwork, and contribute to revenue through floor up-selling while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate company vehicles.
• DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues promptly.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately in Navigator.
• Interact with staff and external vendors for equipment coordination.
• Utilize up-selling techniques to increase revenue.
