Job summary

Encore in Franklin, TN is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. You’ll work closely with hotel staff to ensure events run smoothly and guests are satisfied.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate’s preferred), plus 1 year of hospitality or AV experience. You will lift up to 50 lbs and may drive company vehicles as needed; valid license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• External applicants must meet/train within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet training and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Provide exceptional on-site customer service and client communication.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues professionally.
• Interact with clients and vendors; assist with invoicing and order entries.
• Complete order entries and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Utilize floor up-selling techniques to increase revenue.
• Complete Navigator entries as needed.
