Job summary

The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs seeks an Accounts Payable/Data Entry Clerk to process vendor invoices, code to GL accounts, and ensure timely payments with accuracy. Responsibilities include matching invoices to PO and receiving records, reconciling statements, preparing daily batches, and maintaining organized files.

Associate degree or 2+ years experience and familiarity with AS400, JD Edwards and Perceptive are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or three years relevant experience.
• Previous accounts payable or general accounting and hospitality experience preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as AS400, JD Edwards and Perceptive.

Responsibilities

• Verifies, matches and processes high-volume invoices.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving records.
• Code invoices to the correct department and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and execute daily payment batches.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve inquiries, billing discrepancies, missing documentation, or any invoice problems.
