Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to internal and external clients, patients, and staff.
• Operate the Xtend telephone/paging system and input data.
• Answer and direct a high volume of calls efficiently and professionally.
• Perform paging for medical center staff and manage on-call schedules and beepers.
• Record and report telephone-related problems to the Lead Technician.
• Maintain telephone logs and monitor system performance.
• Handle Interpreter Services and TDD calls per procedures.
• Act as Security Dispatch and Patient Information during off-hours.
