Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Washington state seeks a Staffing & Bed Control Assistant to manage daily staffing and patient placement, adapting to patient acuity and census.

You will record sick leave, communicate changes to managers, maintain an online database of patients and bed availability, and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely, data-driven decisions that improve flow and care.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, insurance plans, computer applications and organizational policies and procedures related to the admission process and staffing needs.
• Must have ability to prioritize work flow and have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily staffing and patient placement across the hospital.
• Record and communicate sick leave to department managers.
• Maintain schedule changes and gather/report data on productive and nonproductive hours.
• Coordinate bed placement with real-time patient locations and bed availability.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to assign patients in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Provide data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
