The Hospital Services Technician will travel to customer healthcare facilities to provide collection and exchange of waste containers for various Stericycle programs, including Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. This includes scheduled visits and assisting team members or supervisors as needed.
Under management direction, the Hospital Services Worker travels between healthcare facilities to collect and exchange waste containers for Stericycle programs, at scheduled intervals.
This position is remote, non-sales, and requires reliable transportation within your territory.
Travel between healthcare facilities to provide proactive collection and exchange of waste containers (70%).
Interact professionally with onsite staff to meet or exceed service expectations (10%).
Maintain a rigid collection schedule (10%).
Communicate duty status as scheduled (5%).
Perform other duties as required (5%).
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2+ years of related experience, customer service preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and demonstrate strong communication skills. Knowledge of computer applications is required. Immunizations and credentialing may be necessary based on customer requirements.
