Position Purpose:

Under management direction, a Hospital Services Worker travels between customer healthcare facilities providing on-site collection and exchange of waste containers for various Stericycle programs, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. This service is provided at scheduled intervals for assigned facilities.

This position is remote and non-sales. Reliable transportation to travel within your territory is required.

Schedule and Location:

• Part-Time (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) - 20-24 hours/week
• Start time: 5-7am
• Locations: Monday (Mercy, Oshkosh, WI), Tuesday (St. Elizabeth, Appleton, WI & Calumet Hospital, Chilton, WI), Thursday (Mercy, Oshkosh, WI & St. Elizabeth, Appleton, WI)

Key Job Activities:

• Travel between healthcare facilities to monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for Stericycle programs. (70%)
• Interact professionally with onsite staff to meet or exceed service expectations. (10%)
• Maintain a rigid collection and service schedule. (10%)
• Communicate duty status on a scheduled basis. (5%)
• Perform other duties as required. (5%)

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Minimum 2+ years of related experience or customer service preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Knowledge of computer applications including spreadsheets is required. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively is essential.

Certifications and Licenses:

Must possess a valid driver's license. Additional immunizations or credentialing may be required based on customer needs.
