Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required.
• CPhT certification via PTCB or ExCPT within 60 days of hire.
• 1–3 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Restocks ADSs and floor stock medications per workflow.
• Delivers medications in compliance with DEA, DPH & State regs.
• Prepares and delivers IV medications per USP 797 & USP 800 standards.
• Compounds non-sterile products and repackages bulk meds per USP 795 & 800.
• Checks for expired meds and disposes per RCRA, OSHA & NIOSH rules.
• Mentors students and pharmacy technicians; supports training.
• Prepares specialized sterile/non-sterile products including TPNs and chemotherapy.
• Suggests workflow improvements and assists senior staff in new practices.
• Staffing maintenance in two or more pharmacy areas.
