Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required.
  • National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) within 60 days of hire.
  • Board of Registration of Pharmacy license maintenance required.
  • 0–2 years related work experience.
  • Experience with computer systems (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access).

Responsibilities

  • Restocks ADSs and floor stock medications per Epic workflows.
  • Delivers medications under DEA, DPH & State Board regulations.
  • Prepares and delivers IV medications following USP 797/800 standards.
  • Compounds non-sterile products and repackages bulk supplies.
  • Checks for expired medications and disposes of damaged meds per regulations.
  • Mentors students and pharmacy technicians.
