Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required.
CPhT credentials (PTCB/ExCPT) required within 60 days of hire.
Maintain good standing with MA Board of Registration of Pharmacy.
0-2 years related work experience.
Experience with computer systems including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Responsibilities

Restocks ADSs and floor stock medications per Epic workflows.
Delivers medications in compliance with DEA, DPH & State Board regulations.
Prepares and delivers IV medications per USP 797 & USP 800; maintains records.
Compounds non-sterile products and repackages to unit of use packaging per USP standards.
Checks for expired medications and disposes of damaged meds per regulations.
Mentors students and pharmacy technicians.
