Bon Secours seeks a Protective Services Officer (Unarmed) for Richmond Community Hospital. The role includes safeguarding patients, staff, and visitors, patrolling grounds, and enforcing campus policies. You will monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, and coordinate with clinical teams and law enforcement as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and BLS certification within 6 months. 1–2 years in security or a related field is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• BLS Basic Life Support required within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Protects patients, visitors and employees by providing escorts and patrolling grounds.
• Deters criminal activity through routine patrols of hospital property including parking areas.
• Enforces policies such as parking, visitation, drug enforcement and tobacco-free policies.
• Monitors activity via closed-circuit television and responds to situations.
• Intervenes in confrontations and documents all incidents and actions taken.
