Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of security, law enforcement, or military experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 6 months of hire.
• OPOTA Certification mandatory for police hires, recommended for others.
• Non-violent crisis intervention training required within 6 months of hire.
• Firearm qualifications; bi-annual refreshers if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift activities and staffing as needed.
• Contribute to hiring input and orientation for new officers.
• Assist in policy development and investigations as assigned.
• Document disciplinary infractions and report to Manager.
• Oversee staff in emergencies, arrests, and fire response.
• Record statistics and enter data into databases.
