Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Protective Services Officer Unarmed at Rappahannock General Hospital in Virginia. You will support patient, visitor and staff safety by patrolling grounds, escorting individuals, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification within 6 months of hire; 1–2 years in security or related fields is preferred. Valid driver’s license and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training are beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required within 6 months of hire.
• 1–2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients, visitors and employees; patrol grounds and monitor safety hazards.
• Deter criminal activity through routine patrols of hospital property including parking areas.
• Enforce hospital policies (parking, visitation, drug enforcement, tobacco/smoke policy).
• Monitor CCTV and coordinate with clinical teams and law enforcement as needed.
• Document all duties; complete daily activity logs and incident reports.
