Bon Secours seeks a Protective Services Officer Armed for St. Francis Downtown. The role provides internal and external safety functions, responding to routine and emergency assistance, patrolling facilities, and supporting investigations as needed.

Responsibilities include escorts, incident response, policy enforcement, CCTV monitoring, and documenting activities. Requires 1–2 years security experience, valid driver's license, and current BLS.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required within 6 months of hire.
• RSFH licensure requirements for armed TASER within 6 months of hire and TASER Training within 60 days.

Responsabilidades

• Protects patients, visitors and employees by providing escorts, patrolling grounds and mitigating safety hazards.
• Deters criminal activity through routine patrols of hospital property, including parking areas.
• Enforces policies such as parking regulations, visitation, drug enforcement and tobacco/smoking policies.
• Monitors activity via CCTV and responds to escalated situations requiring protective services involvement.
• Intervenes in confrontations as appropriate and documents duties in daily logs and incident reports.
• Performs other job-related duties as required by supervisor.
