Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Patient Flow Manager to lead a team of Patient Observation Assistants and Patient Transporters. You will apply patient transport concepts, infection control, and body mechanics while developing dispatcher logic and coordinating with other departments.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, budgeting, and training.

Qualifications

• Management experience in hospital environment and/or patient transportation/observation.
• Analytical ability to interpret statistical data and identify trends.
• Basic computer skills with Windows OS; troubleshoot system issues.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply patient transport concepts, infection control practices, and body mechanics.
• Develop dispatcher logic and supervise dispatcher activities.
• Coordinate Patient Observation activities with other departments and draft service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (federal, state, JCAHO, OSHA, CDC).
• Orient, train, and develop personnel including dispatchers, trainers, transporters, couriers, drivers, and elevator operators.
• Assist unit director in achieving financial objectives and managing budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
