Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver world-class service at counters and on phones, handling patient inquiries, and processing payments for a hospital setting. The role emphasizes accuracy, courtesy, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications include at least two years of hospital experience and preferred bilingual English-Spanish capabilities. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Minimum of 2 years hospital experience preferred.
• Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes messages by phone or over counter, documents information per guidelines.
• Assists with patient inquiries in person or by phone; supports Patient Access staff.
• Provides courteous, professional service at counters or on phones (within 3 rings) and collects payments.
• Supports hospital mission, values, policies, and procedures.
• Participates in required education for applicable DN V programs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
