Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking a unit clerk for the ACE unit to support patient flow, documentation, and unit operations. You will coordinate bed management, admissions, and transfers while assisting staff and families with routine inquiries.

Qualifications

• Previous clerical and customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proficient with medical records management and hospital information systems.
• Basic familiarity with hospital software tools and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Bed management coordination and ADT communications with departments.
• Answer phones, relay messages, and support unit throughput and patient flow.
• Maintain patient charts, records, and discharge/transfer documentation.
• Assist with admissions, rounds coordination, and unit receptionist duties.
