Qualifications

• Required - High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferred - Trade school or company school
• Required - 2 years of Maintenance experience or completion of Ochsner Apprenticeship
• Preferred - Healthcare maintenance experience
• Required - Valid driver's license in home state

Responsibilities

• Performs general inspections, troubleshooting and repairs of minor electrical, mechanical, and plumbing items in hospital/clinic settings.
• Follows up on completed assignments to ensure proper equipment operation.
• Responds to and repairs specialty systems such as nurse call, fire alarm, TV and medical gas systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections per checkpoints and documents results.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment in assigned areas and supports other departments as needed.
• Remains on-call for emergencies and extended hours when required.
