Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or company school preferred.
• 2 years of experience in commercial, industrial or hospital maintenance or completion of the Ochsner Apprenticeship program.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general inspections, troubleshooting and repairs of minor electrical, mechanical, and plumbing items within the hospital or clinic setting.
• Follow up on completed assignments ensuring equipment is working properly.
• Respond to and repair specialty systems such as nurse call, fire alarm, TV, medical gas, and ceiling systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance inspections and document results.
