St. Luke's Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare, serve, and forecast items for menu services according to recipes and production methods. The role includes ensuring proper temperatures, portion control, and timely communication of menu changes.

Hours are 5:30am - 2:00pm, with every other weekend and holiday required. Hospital or restaurant kitchen experience is preferred, and on-the-job training will be provided to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent; must communicate effectively in English.
• Previous cooking experience, preferably in a hospital or restaurant environment.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares all foods, ensuring readiness for service as scheduled and in proper amounts.
• Ensures foods are served at proper temperatures and merchandized well.
• Follows recipes and maintains proper portion sizes for service.
• Reviews menus with staff and notes any changes.
• Alerts staff to menu changes in time for action.
• Preps quantities according to forecasts and directions.
• Reviews next day service and communicates changes.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the food service area.
