Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - St. Louis North in St. Louis, MO is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Coordinator to join our on-site team. This full-time role supports payroll, benefits, recruitment, data accuracy, and employee relations at the hospital level.

You will partner with centralized HR, ensure compliance, and help shape a positive workplace culture while delivering timely, service-oriented HR support to leaders and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field required. (Commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of the degree with the approval of Corporate HR)
• 2 years Human Resources experience required.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate day-to-day HR operations at the hospital level, ensuring high-quality execution across the employee lifecycle
• Partner closely with HR Shared Services to deliver seamless support in payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, employee data, and HR administration
• Serve as a trusted advisor and service-oriented resource for employees and leaders
• Coordinate and support accurate payroll processing, timekeeping, and data integrity
• Drive and support talent acquisition efforts, including hiring coordination, onboarding, and workforce planning support
• Maintain compliance with employment laws, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards
• Act as the local subject matter expert for benefits, policies, and HR processes
• Support employee relations needs with professionalism, discretion, and consistency
• Play an active role in building and sustaining a positive, high-performing workplace culture
• Contribute insights that help shape HR strategy and operational effectiveness at the hospital level
