Job summary

Midland-Health-2 seeks a Guest Assistant to warmly welcome patients and visitors at the hospital entry. You will handle check-in, confirm appointments, provide onboarding, and escort to destinations, ensuring privacy and accurate visitor management.

The role emphasizes professional demeanor, active listening, and teamwork. Shift Mon-Fri 1:30 PM–10:00 PM; dress code is uniform; prior high school diploma required; experience with visitor management systems preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Timely reporting for your shift to ensure proper coverage for patients/guest
• Provides point of entry optimal guest experience by greeting every guest/patient that enter the hospital
• Extends assistance via wheelchair to any mobility impaired patient/guest
• Understand schedules and appropriate destination for patient
• Understands and maintains confidentiality and privacy with schedules
• Complete proper check in for all patients/guest
• Communicates effectively and respectfully with every colleague and guest
• Utilize software programs necessary for job duties (Visitor Management system; Registration Onboarding system; Incident Reporting system, ISO reporting; work order system and EHR)
