Job summary

Advocate Trinity Hospital is seeking a part-time Guest Services Associate to warmly welcome guests and patients in the Main Lobby, assess immediate needs, and coordinate transportation as required.

You will greet and direct visitors per visitation policy, answer questions, and resolve issues with support from the Guest Services Manager. This role supports multiple hospital areas to ensure a safe, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years hospital experience in a high contact customer service area or 2 years of comparable customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests, associates and partners to hospital Main Lobby.
• Assesses guest needs and transports or arranges transportation as necessary.
• Greets and directs patients, family, visitors and associates according to visitation policy and Guest Services Standards.
• Answers questions and solves problems for guests independently or with the guest services manager.
• Coordinates guest information needs with external services or resources such as bus routes, taxi requests and schedules.
• Ensures transportation equipment is available and escorts guests to their destination as needed.
• Acts as a liaison between guests and hospital areas to direct to Cashier/business office or valet services.
• Retains lost belongings and coordinates pickup; supervises volunteer activities.
