Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Some knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests, associates and partners to hospital Main Lobby.
• Assesses guest’s needs and transports or arranges transportation as needed.
• Addresses guests according to service standards and answers questions or resolves issues.
• Greets and directs patients, family and visitors per visitation policy.
• Operates information sources to provide directions, test/procedure locations and visiting hours.
• Coordinates with departments to meet guest information needs and requests.
• Ensures guests have appropriate identification before entering patient care areas.
