Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Guest Services Concierge for full-time or flexible full-time roles. The position greets patients and visitors, provides directions, answers calls, and supports parking and accessibility services.

The preferred shift starts around 4:30am to 6:00am, with responsibilities including transportation assistance and serving as a welcoming, information resource within the hospital. You will work as the first point of contact, ensure a positive first impression, follow hospital policies,

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year greeter or equivalent customer service experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet hospital guests and provide directions, information and assistance.
• Answer and transfer calls; assist with parking-related requests.
• Escort or transport patients, including wheelchair assistance.
• Maintain lobby presentation and keep areas neat and welcoming.
• Train and orient new employees at the Information Desk.
• Balance receipts and prepare daily activity reports.
