Job summary

North Texas Medical Center is seeking a part-time Front Desk Clerk to greet patients and visitors, assist with admissions for testing or procedures, and ensure visitors adhere to hospital policies.

You will maintain a professional, courteous demeanor, be knowledgeable about hospital services, and provide directions as needed. The role requires English communication and prior medical office experience is a plus. Weekend shifts run from 9am to 3pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred (6+ months).
• Basic computer literacy and typing ability are required.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes all patients, visitors and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Knowledgeable of hospital policies and services to direct patients and visitors.
• Interacts professionally, providing information and directions.
• Represents the hospital positively and maintains HIPAA confidentiality.
• Secures and monitors the Front Lobby during Visiting hours and supports safety procedures.
