Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a Hospital Food Service Supervisor to oversee operations within the Food and Nutrition Services team, including kitchen, cafeteria, catering, and patient room service. You will coordinate development, staffing and direction of operations to ensure exceptional service for patients and staff.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 2 years’ food service experience in healthcare or hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years experience in food service, acute care, or hospitality setting preferred.
• Certifications: CDM preferred; Serve Safe Manager within 90 days may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate department development and support the direction of operations and personnel in kitchen, cafeteria, catering, and Patient Services.
• Assist in planning, organizing, staffing and supporting Food and Nutrition Services.
• Ensure continuous excellent service to Mercy patients, guests and co-workers in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.
