Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Financial Counselor to assist uninsured and underinsured patients with coverage options and financial assistance. This on-site role requires regular travel between hospital floors to meet patients in their rooms, screen for eligibility, and aid with applications.

You will explain options, discuss patient responsibilities, document activity, and coordinate with care teams to protect privacy in a fast-paced hospital setting. This PRN position offers hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Detail-oriented with ability to navigate multiple systems.

Responsibilities
