Job summary

Advocate Health in Milwaukee is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on building systems, troubleshoot issues, and support the installation of hardware and electrical devices. You will document tasks in CMMS and maintain safety-critical systems under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Technical training completion preferred.

• 2–4 years of related maintenance/operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on facility systems and document in CMMS.
• Troubleshoot basic building system failures and perform repairs as directed.
• Operate and monitor basic Utility System Infrastructure.
• Assist in maintaining fire alarm and fire protection systems.
• Support installation of building hardware and electrical devices.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and repair files.
• Read blueprints and Life Safety drawings to complete assignments.
