Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensure: Driver's License required.
• Less than 2 years’ experience in equipment maintenance.
• Basic computer skills with CMMS and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility and equipment maintenance per codes; document in CMMS.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, doors, boilers, etc.).
• Maintain patient care equipment (beds, wheelchairs, carts).
• Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems with guidance.
• Handle routine grounds, carpentry, painting, and snow removal tasks.
• Respond to emergencies (leaks, floods, power outages) as directed.
• Respond to building occupants' requests; update status of requests.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety checks.
• Inspect and repair fire doors, hardware, smoke partitions.
• Read blueprints and manuals to complete tasks.
