Requires 2-4 years in related industrial/trades maintenance and an advanced technical background. Candidates must have a High school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduces preventive maintenance tasks and repairs on basic facility systems and documents tasks through the computerized maintenance system.
• Assists in evaluating and troubleshooting basic building system failures and performs repairs as directed.
• Operates and monitors and maintains basic Utility System Infrastructure.
• Assist in maintaining fire alarm and fire protection systems.
• Supports the installation of building hardware, electrical devices, and wall finishes under supervision.
• Maintains preventive maintenance records and equipment repair files for compliance.
• Reads blueprints, Life Safety drawings and maintenance manuals to gain knowledge needed to complete assignments.
