CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Chief Building Engineer to lead hospital building operations and maintenance. You will oversee essential systems, coordinate a skilled team, and ensure safe, reliable operations around the clock in a healthcare setting.

You will manage day-to-day engineering tasks, mentor staff, and participate in an on-call rotation including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade diploma with 5–8 years' related experience.
• Meet the physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Innovative mindset to develop methods beyond current solutions.
• Ability to solve unique problems with broad business impact.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills with a curious mindset.
• Strong mathematical skills for percentages and fractions.

Responsabilités

• Lead operations, assign work orders, and train coworkers and subcontractors; arrange for subcontractors as needed.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance during downtime to minimize business interruption.
• Check fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure equipment operates within design specs.
• Oversee engineering staff and ensure workspace is in good condition and equipment functions properly.
• Respond to emergency situations and request help when needed.
• Apply advanced knowledge to develop new methods for departmental objectives.
• Demonstrate expertise and cross-discipline knowledge within CBRE.
