Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Lead Sr Building Engineer for a mission-critical hospital campus in Grapevine, TX. You will direct daily maintenance, lead the onsite team, and ensure safety, compliance, and reliable operation of HVAC, plumbing, and life-safety systems.

You’ll manage PM programs, utilize BAS to optimize environmental controls, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high performance in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 5–8 years of job-related experience or equivalent
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage team workflows
• Experience with healthcare facility codes and life-safety systems
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in a high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

• Direct daily maintenance operations for the hospital campus, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the onsite maintenance team.
• Manage CMMS workflow by assigning work orders and tracking progress.
• Perform hands‑on repairs and maintenance with the team during high-volume periods.
• Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and general facility infrastructure.
• Oversee the preventive maintenance program to keep systems compliant and serviced.
