CBRE is seeking a Lead Sr Building Engineer for a mission‑critical hospital campus in Grapevine, TX. You will be the operational backbone, directing daily maintenance, ensuring safety, reliability and regulatory compliance while leading the onsite team.

This hands‑on leadership role requires technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, BAS, and CMMS, plus the ability to mentor staff, manage priorities, and uphold CBRE’s standards of care and service excellence.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school acceptable.
• 5–8 years of related experience in building operations or facilities management.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage team workflows, and make independent decisions in high pressure environments.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing stairs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, safety-focused mindset.
• Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic building systems knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Direct daily maintenance operations for the hospital campus, ensuring a safe and functional environment for patients and staff.
• Provide direct leadership and technical mentorship to the onsite maintenance team.
• Manage the CMMS workflow by assigning work orders, tracking progress, and ensuring SLAs are met.
• Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance daily, assisting the team during high-volume periods.
• Perform hands-on maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and general facility infrastructure.
• Execute and oversee the preventive maintenance program to service mechanical systems on schedule.
• Utilize BAS to monitor and adjust facility environmental controls.
• Maintain life safety systems and regulatory compliance within healthcare standards.
• Interact professionally with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
