Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is seeking a Facilities Carpenter for the 1st shift at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. The role assists with day-to-day upkeep, repairs, cabinet work, doors, drywall, flooring, and painting to keep hospital buildings and campus operations running smoothly.

Work hours are 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing plant areas, reading blueprints, estimating materials and costs, coordinating with supervisors, and performing

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience in maintenance preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Driver's license and clean driving record required
• Experience with work order systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, and operates hospital facilities and campus
• Performs minor carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing and electrical tasks
• Reads blueprints, estimates materials and costs
• Coordinates with supervisors and vendors for repairs
• Responds to emergency problems and performs routine maintenance
