Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with courses in shop, mathematics, mechanics, and general science.
• Driver’s License required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Ability to understand and manipulate systems computers
• Capable of reading, understanding, and interpreting blueprints.
• Weekend work and shift rotation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Constructs and renovates walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Designs and builds casework and cabinetry
• Respond to emergent calls promptly and courteously.
• Install walls/floors in all in-house construction/renovation projects.
• Maintain/Repair/replace damaged walls/floors in patient rooms and common areas.
• Maintenance/repair of hospital ceiling tiles.
• Refinishing of hospital furniture.
• Maintain essential tools and equipment inventory.
